It’s a tricky situation as I feel like I should take the plunge but I don’t want to loose my job and what I’m doing now in case I don’t like it. Maybe I’d benefit more from a night course than an apprenticeship as I don’t want to go through all that again

As for satisfying plumbing i know a guy ex plumber who spent many years piping up oil and gas instrument panels both onshore and offshore. Probably the quickest and neatest Ive ever seen. Mostly 10 and 12mm stainless type stuff, a work of art at times. Just retired with nowt as he drunk it all.
