Plumbing in a shower rail

Im thinking of fitting something along these lines. We currently have a ceiling mounted “rain” head which has seen better days and the girls are always complaining about having to wear a shower cap when having a body shower. The mixer is one of those grohe remote control jobbies in the attic.

For ease of installation as i dont fancy opening up a decorated stud wall to conceal pipes Im thinking of running a 15mm chromed copper pipe alongside the shower rail into the attic. What would be the best interface from the pipe to the 1/2” bsp shower fitting ?

You mean something like this with a compression fitting to pipe and the BSP at the other end

This was my solution apt for the task, I'm flabbergasted that I completed this in 2016 , alas was my first house wasn't there long enough to enjoy it mind.





It was a stunning place when we had completed it.




Oh I wish I still had the same level of enthusiasm.
