Every sink is plumbed with a plastic service cock on the hot and cold water pipe that has a poxy plastic slotted screw with turn them off. Easy one is siezed and the heads strip out so you have to isolate the whole house to work on anything. What happened to brass valves with compression fittings that lasted almost forever?

ah yeah our bog had that, they're proper ****e, when plumbing everything In I've made sure to use those brass compression fittings on the plastic pipe!
