plug?

loking into fitting euro plug? ( right name?) or similar to my arc welder so i keep cables tidier when not in use.
how hard is it to do?

wasnt sure of correct name but looked on e-bay at name you put and yes that is sort of thing i am wanting.
as for size i need do i need to measure od of cable +sheath or just the copper inner?
the weler is a clarke 145te turbo if that helps?

just the inner. if it helps your meter tails in your house are normally 25mm>

I have used these 10-25 dinze panel sockets on a clarke arc welder. The cable inside the welder fitted onto them pretty well, the holes in the panel needed a bit of enlarging. And the welding cables then need the corresponding size fittings.

They worked well.

The next size up dinze connectors seemed to be a bit over the top for the size of the welder i had.

i've nearly finished converting the mix of fixings i had into dinze

I have the very same model of welder , have recently replaced the 240 volt lead with a 5 mtr heavier one ,whilst the lid was off was I thinking that I too would change over to plugs for the leads as there is oodles of room to play with ... are you using the supplied cables or have you uprated the electrode lead ?

I did uprate them a bit, nothing too over the top though. And much much longer.
