Plug for clarke 160 tm

Hi,
Recieved my clarke 160 tm on friday. It requires a plug to be put on the end. In the manual it requires a plug of greater than 13 amp. I have got a heavy duty 13 amp plug will this be ok to use. I only have 3 pin style sockets in my garage (but the heavy duty outside style not the house ones). So can I use the 13 amp heavy duty plug I have without blowing or burneing out anything?

if used with a decent plug and socket it will be ok to use safely .if used on full power for any length of time it will pop the fuse ,and need replacing just keep an eye out on socket and plug for discolouration and overheating and u will be fine

Hi I have just bought the same welder as you, have you had ANY problems yet using a heavy duty 13amp plug with this machine?
