Please review this weld pic

Hi;
Could you please review this weld. It is on 16/17 ga exhaust tubing. I used 0.030" Mig wire with C25 mix at 15 cuft/hr. It seems a bit fat and high to me and even after experimenting with different wire speeds this is the best that I can get. Does the penetration look OK? Thanks.

Eventually I will be doing a lap joint with one pipe over the other. Are you all saying that the setting will work better for that kind of joint?
I first experimented with .024" wire but could not get any penetration even with the welder at the highest setting. The welder is a Campbell Hausfeld WG 2064 with 4 settings and variable wire speed. I then switched to the 0.030" wire and found that the #3 setting with a #2 wire speed sounded best. I used a weaving technique as shown in the tutorial and welded from right to left. The chart attached to the welder recommends a setting of #2 for 16-18ga and 0.30"wire. If I increase speed more I find that the wire seems to be kicking back into the gun. I tried the # 4 setting briefly but it seemed to get red hot very fast. How much penetration should one get with .056" tubing? Is the penetration less because it is tubing as opposed to flat sheet of the same thickness?
