Please recommend budget pallet wrap

I could do with some pallet wrap film to wrap up a few heavy tools, machine parts, etc to be kept in dry storage. Can anyone suggest a suitable film thickness? I'd rather not just trust the"extra heavy duty" claim of many eBay advertisers. Thanks.

I buy pallet wrap off eBay for wrapping up parcels but also to stop dust etc on items stored in loft, garage, lock-up etc.
I just go with the cheapest black pallet wrap and that seems fine but you can always wrap a couple more times if worried

Silage wrap?

We were lucky enough a contractor left behind accidentally 4 boxes of it about a decade ago and been using it ever since - given there's literally about a mile of it on each roll...

Quick search shows that 500mm x 1.8km roll is £69

We were lucky enough a contractor left behind accidentally 4 boxes of it about a decade ago and been using it ever since - given there's literally about a mile of it on each roll...

I'm sure it's good stuff and good value too, but far too big a roll for my needs.

Seems to be either 17 or 20 microns. Thanks.

I had a partial roll with the holder I had gotten from somewhere, was "professional grade".
Used it up, and bought the cheapest stuff.....not good. Rips way too easily, and a real pain to get
started coming off the roll, ripping when you tug on it just a wee bit.

25 microns. Pretty tough stuff if I recall correctly from my youth.

that's what i use, got some half used rolls for nowt. the stuff is bombproof after a few wraps
