What’s a good plastic to machine but also fairly strong need some for a GoPro mount

Just as a FYI, Delrin is DuPont's trade name for the more generic acetal.

And acetal is the colloquial for POM (polyoxymethylene)

But yes... absolutely lovely to machine....makes a hell of a mess though!

nylon is stronger than acetal (delrin), but acetal is nicer to machine and gets a better finish

DuPont also 'invented' Nylon but strangely didn't bother to register it as a name

According to as story on the net . . .Oddly, DuPont never trademarked the word nylon. Because DuPont made a lot of materials that were used to make other products and not the products themselves they did not have a lot of control over the quality of the final product. If they trademarked Nylon and a company made poor quality stockings with the Nylon trademark, the poor quality would reflect on DuPont
