Anygood?
Or is there better stuff out there?
When we make those we use heat shrink tube. That appliance is known as a rizzoli splint.Still trying to check Internet as ti what they use to cover my wife's drop foot insert. But I can't find even one photo or mention of the contraption.
No wonder it took 3 months to get it repaired when it snapped on the bend.View attachment 418283View attachment 418284View attachment 418285
I knew someone on here was into NHS stuff. When we make those we use heat shrink tube. That appliance is known as a rizzoli splint.
HummmmmmmmmmI use glue lined heat shrink to redo handles on old pliers , It works and is easy to redo again if you have to.
Although it looks good enough to give it a go.
I want to coat SS,i see you can get a primerIt was.
The new stuff really needs the tools to be supper clean.
They say you can dip into the can/container. Don't.
The red, black and blue seam to work the best.
Frost do it, but it is costly. But I can not find a local outlet.
yep you can indeedHummmmmmmmmm
thats not a bad idea tbh
Could you do several layers i wonder????
Apart from the increase chance of knocking the tub over.I want to coat SS,i see you can get a primer
You say dont, may i ask why?
Ditto. I did subsequently discover that there is a clear sealant that should also be applied.I’ve a Tee shaped Allan key on the lathe that I welded up and dipped in yellow Plastidip at least ten years ago and it’s still going strong. Gets mighty grubby but cleans up with a wipe of WD40.
