Plasma torch electrodes

Hi, I bought consumables for my recently bought Parkside plasma, off ebay described as PT-31, which I thought would be correct.
I have not used them yet, they do fit and screw up, but the electrodes are a fair bit shorter in comparison.

Will they work ok and perform as well as the originals or should I get different?

Yea they come in 2 sizes (length)..looks like you have bought the small ones which i dont think will work

Yes there the ones from the same seller i bought from last week and there identical to the lidl ones. The seller was a bit slow on posting.

No real reason why the short ones won't work, if they fit the torch properly. Most plasma torches have various lengths of electrodes and nozzles. As long as you match the nozzle and electrode together they'll be fine.
I prefer long series consumables personally, but horses for courses.
Of course, cheap spurious nozzles and electrodes have a short life and give bad cut quality, but that's more for you to decide... should be fine for sheet metal still.

I thought it was a trafimet design but I was wrong. Trafimet consumables are excellent.
Not sure whos design the original PT31 torch was unfortunately.
IFL do spares for PT31 torches, I have had good results with IFL spares for my LT50/CB50, better than no-brand consumables anyway.

I believe they are still in business, just a bit hit and miss whether you'll get your stuff or you'll get a refund. I got my Cut40 consumables from them a good few years ago now, no problems.
