Plasma King 35

I have a plasma king 35 that has had very little use that I bought off a friend.

If I pull too far away that the arc stops, the air continues to be fed until I switch the machine off. However if I cut normally and stop the arc by letting of the button the air stops.

Anybody got any idea whether this is normal?

I don't think it is the air solenoid at fault, as surely then it would always continue when even when I let go of the trigger?

When you say it stops when you release the button, does it stop immediately or carry on for a few seconds?

It stops after a couple of seconds I think, I will have another go tonight. When the arc is lost, it continues until I cut the power

When you lose the arc does it try to restart?

IIRC these models have this restart feature to allow you to cut mesh.

It didn't on a painted surface, but I will try it again on bare metal
