Both valid points.
The other thing is that the plasma cut edge is covered in dross and welds like crap. Full of porosity. You need to get it back to good steel so allow for that in your cut.
As bornfree says, a 9” disk is the way for a few cuts.

I have 9 mitre cuts on 4/5mm 100mm square️ steel.
My 5 inch grinder was not happy at all.

Keeping my eye out for a portable band saw. Was going to get the dewalt xr but no where near big enoughCarefully removing the galv near the cut would be recommended, before plasma cutting!
A bandsaw would be more accurate than anything hand-held. Could still be portable, of course. Mine is.
