Are they all machine specific or can I upgrade my cheap chinese torch for a decent replacement?
I only ask because the one that came with my plasma cutter feels a little on the flimsy side, mainly the switch part which is just cable tied to the handle. And although it is working well enough at the moment, I feel it will onlt be a matter of time before it needs replacement.
Another thing, I have watched a few youtube videos demonstrating various machines, one in particular was a bloke with a cut 30 like mine and when he pulled the trigger without being near the workpiece he got a plasma flame out of the end of the gun, mine does not do that but starts when the torch is placed close to the steel, is that right?
