Plant / construction machinery breakers

@8ob ,does any one know of a breaker, of plant / construction machinery ?
I am looking for a s/h wheel, or preferably a pair , with solid rubber tyres. It is for a material handler in a scrapyard. One of the original ones has split and came of the rim.
Hole centre in wheel is Approximately 285mm, 10 stud wheels.

the first time the tyres break up and the plant falls over. HSE will have a field day. Some things you don't skimp on.

I would be very surprised if Nelson Green at RAF Folkingham couldn't help you. He breaks everything from ancient to modern, spent many days mooching about there and always come away with what I want.

There is a technology for filling conventional tires with high density 2K polyurethane foam. At least 20 years ago there was such a company.

and if you develop the idea further ... then, finding just tires + filling with polyurethane may turn out to be both faster and cheaper. Monolithic wheels are expensive.

The machine has twin wheels on every corner. It is an inside one , that has gone. They have fitted a truck wheel and tyre, to it ,to keep it going. Filling it with foam may be an option. They wheels are only for it trundling about the yard. When it is working, it is raised up on the jack legs. Obviously a pneumatic tyre is not best option, for driving around a scrap yard.

I got a really nice forklift set years ago.... two weeks later the controller blew up and the forklift was scrap :-(
