pizza oven add on to log burner

Often seeing the store prepaird pizzas in the reduced section of tescos but never had a way of cooking them in the workshop but last week aldi started selling pizza stones for 7 quid.
So 1 beer keg a bit of plasma cutting with an old indexing table some grinding a spot of welding and a bit of re jiging some pipe work later and i came up with this.

I might need to put an air vent in the top il find out tomorow when i give it a go

you can use it as an oven for any sort of food as long its not too tall... so most things, apart from a joint of meat

You can get them cheap as chips on the reducespd section, but in the end its just cheese on toast, ive gone right off them. I prefer a meat pie.

i might have a look at lifting the stone a bit higher an insulating the lid some how to get more heat on the and less on the bass

have you got a heat exchanger in there as well to heat water?

yep water runs through 4 lengths of 40mm pipe with 40x80 box as a manifold ether end and the flue gases run between them this thermo syphones in to a big aluminuim finned and copper pipe heat exchanger out of an old ofice block it is a closed lope system with a fill point (the tap at the top of the pic) and most inporntantly a presser release valve witch is after the pressure gage.
then there is a thermo couple which triggers a fan of a pub beed cooler on the back of the heat exchanger once it gets to 60 c
im normaly burning hard wood palets from brazil and it heats up a 300 squair meter space in a coupel of hours and runs at 4 bar and uses on avrage 3 palets in 8 hours
im planing on making a saw dust burner to run of a hopper as im making a lot of saw dust and shavings at the mo and it looks like it will continue

The thing on the right under the heat exchange is a small coke furnace and bashing block on 2 thick wall I sections middle filled with concrete and a lead shim between the 10mm plate top and the block for sound deadining

thats the problem with wood burners

storeing the fuel
