Afternoon all,
I've have some Mahle pistons with side locating pins that fall out. The new versions are supplied with pins from the crown. Is there anyone who can modify my existing pistons

Wouldn't new pistons be cheaper than modifying the old ones ? Going on the price of labour etc.

I thought rings for 2 stroke motors had cut-outs at the end to make sure the locating pins couldn't work loose.

looks like XR2 pistons...had one on the back of my marshan19

It can weld the piston never heating the crown over 120 degrees.

How can it weld an aluminium crown without getting any of it to the melting point of aluminium?
