Pipe Union Name - type ?

For those in the know ...

What's the proper term/name for this male threaded pipe union ?
Pipe barb or something ?
Need to go order one with a larger barbed o.d as its to slack a fit for the pipe it pushes into

btw,I thought about calling it Brian or Tim, but not sure the guy in the shop will know what I mean when I go ask for one

That particular one looks like the sort of thing used in hydraulics. It has a ring at the top where the outer ferrule gets crimped and locks into it.

Cheers, it probably is, as it came from a company that makes hydraulic hoses
Only need it to join into a water pipe so not essential

British parallel pipe male to hose tail from the look of it, you need to measure the diameter of each end to get the correct size the BSP bit looks like 1/4" but it's hard to say from a photo!
