Just to make sure your machine is working correctly is probably for the best to test it on some of my pipe just to "check" it's OKHard work by hand , I have a Rems electric jobbie easy Peasy.

Back in 1965 as just turned 15 yr old who'd recently left school on my first leave from the army boys apprentice school I did all the threading and placing the boss whited connections for the 1 " gas , water steel galv pipes etc. exactly in place ready for being picked up and put in the pie clips that John the fitter was putting up for six newly built broiler houses . All the pipes were being fixed to the roof trusses for the two outside runs , the center run was being suspended off chains 7 hooks screwed in the trusses .
After the 1" piping was put up I then had to make all the right length drop down pipes in smaller steel pipes so that the end height of the brass termination taps across all sheds were each six foot from the concrete floors .
Each shed was just over 100 yards long ( 900 mm x 100 for those who don't know what a yard is ) with three runs of each service . The owner of the agricultural engineering services who ran the contract eventually told me that the pipe fitter evidently had difficulty keeping up with me after the first week . I got more dosh in that three weeks after working 12 hr days than I earnt in my first two years in the army as an apprentice .
Plus I was given a cash in hand gift of £50 from the owner of the sheds because it meant he could get his sheds up & running three weeks earlier than projected .
That £50 tip was more money than my old man was earning in a month . (Now worth around £800 in today's money )
The job lasted nearly three weeks , leaving me with four days left of my leave.
At the end of the job , once back home one evening I was mucking about with some of my ex school mates . Much to my surprise I grabbed hold of one of them , picked him up above my head and threw him in the river because he was being a cnut to one of the lasses who were with us .
Yep .... lots of pipe threading certainly builds the body & mind big time . I'd gone from a 34 inch chest to a 40 inch chest in three weeks & as it was summer was as brown as a hazel nut save for the shorts shaped transfer of white . I didn't have the gym monkeys six pack thing either, just an all over solid body of hardening muscle tone .

About right! I pressed Buy it now on a presto adjustable ratchet die last night,
Only to get a message back saying its now not available as its been lost
. I'm sick to the back teeth of this type of thing happening on that site

i got all the steel conduit to thread at 15 years old and had to bend it all shapes with the hilmore bender as the guy i worked with was useless .i extended the handles on the dies so it was easier to cut the threads 
i still have the hilmore as me gaffer retired and threw it in the skip and it was quickly removed

Hire a rems with a 2"die and buy a tin of pipe cutting oil from a hire shop you'll also need a 3kva transformer
it will be quicker than trying to set a ratchet dies up plus you will need 2" cutting dies as they do come in quarter up to 2"
We used to have a set of ridged adjustable die stocks in work and you had to make sure the right dies were in then you would have to cut the thread a couple of times testing with a fitting to make sure it wasn't too tight or too loose
then they bought the rems and we burnt the motor out using a transformer that was too small, but they are much quicker and easier than smacking your face against the bench because two of the ratchets were worn!

Hss want 90 odd pound per day for the threading machine, But I have sorted it now, i was having a ponder and realized my mate works at a hydraulic firm like pirtek, A quick phone call and A couple of beers and it will be done
