pink arc rods

just been given an old arc welder and along with mormal rods its got about a dozen pink rods about 2.5mm.
cant make out lettering on it.
are they for something special?

If they are bright pink and quite flexible with fragile flux they could be Eutectic silver solder rods.

Could be vodex, which are pink, and not uncommon. A very nice 6013 stylee rod.

Another vote for vodex,common ,but nice easy strike 6013 rod,of course we haven't seen the rods

been through them all and and pieced this together
E6013(or 8 ) VDX E4333R.
must be close 1000 rods in total of diff sizes in normal grey colour.

VDX- vodex then!

yes Vodex and if they are pink they are the old uns.....good uns...........they went a more reddy brown when they moved them to Hungary
