Yes had noticed i just seen pulse mentioned in the spec sheet nothing else. I take it that is what you need for aluminium welding.
Side note was looking at the oxford website earlier to day just out of interest noticed on thier multi process machine they were quoting you could dc tig weld aluminium upto 2-3mm this would suggest you could weld thinner on dc tig but from my limited knowledge that isnt possible or at least very very difficult.

You don't "need" adjustable balance or frequency for Ali. I used to have a basic transformer set that worked well.

That's true but it makes life easier.
EC1A 2BN is a common postcode for companies, there is a company there that will set up your company, provide you with a phone line and redirect post to give you a London address - at work we try to ban anyone putting any company with that (and a number of other) postcodes onto the supplier / customer system. I think last time I checked there were circa 4,000 active companies using that postcode!

No photos of the actual products, just pictures. I wanted a generator and asked if I could pick it up. They agreed and gave me a post code and address to collect once I paid. I checked the address and it was a park. Luckily I hadn't paid them. I complained to Ebay and they removed the advert but people got scammed. He had sold lots of cheap items to get a good 100% feedback.

I caught out one seller of sheds at a cheap price because I noticed his pictures were the same as another legitimate shed seller, he had just copied them Got him removed as well.

Not really thinking about buying just surprised to see a ac dc tig for less than £800. Think id still save up for a decent one if i needed it. Just seemed a little to good a deal at that price. Assuming they stand by thier 5 year warranty and 10 year spares avaliblity promise.

Your absolutely right you don’t need balance and frequency adjustment providing the preset values are actually preset somewhere useful. The problem is I bet they aren’t.
The Common trend with cheap fixed inverters is to fix the balance to heavily ball the electrode and the frequency around 60hz. On a transformer with that lovely, buttery, smooth sine wave it worked well but on a cheap inverter with crap stability on square wave it’s just awful.

No he says its brand new and he's only selling it because he's got nowhere to use it I can't see anyone taking that much of a loss so something doesn't seem right to me
