A clevis pin has a head. A headless clevis pin doesn't. A clevis pin will not come with a ring.
The pin in the picture is not strictly a clevis pin!

It is.
The types with heads are the most common type used, but I believe, whether it's headed or headless, and with a ring or not, that the correct name is still a clevis pin? I'll stand corrected if not.

would definitely be a type of clevis pin. All ours on the farm have a flange to stop it falling through the drawbar with a ring above for the purposes of getting it out. I assume the detent pin in the op picture locates the pin therefore a flange isn't necessary. I cant think of an application where having a flange would be a problem? What are you using It for?
