Need to get my hands on some 20mm ones.

Is eBay the best option?

Would be prepared to buy more than a couple if it works out better value for money!

yes go thru ebay, 20mm bore/diam, that's the cast iron type with 4 bolt holes work out less than a 10ner each........I buy them by the dozen and they last well...the best one's to get have grease nipples but they all seem to last the same time.......

I've seen a YouTube of inspecting some cheap Chinese bearings and they were junk. I would get a recognised brand if I were you if you want them to last, or run true.

I had a customer who used cheap Chinese bearings on trailer hubs, they had to withdraw them and I managed to scrounge some for a project and they were indeed rubbish.

I picked up some Challenge Agri 20mm UCF204 bearings from eBay for £5.50 ea delivered. They're still available if you search.

I rang once and the bloke said something like "SKF £40, Japanese £20 or Chinese £4".

Put the ones from Wrong Kong on the kid's Jeep and never looked back. BiL uses them on his boat trailer too.

£15 I think but I have purchased items over that and got away with it. Bigger value

I remember that people use to send things as a gift item. Is that still a current thing?

As you can tell I'm not very up to scratch with how import tax works exactly!

I think £15 is the VAT threshold, the import duty is more like £135. However, don't forget that Parcelforce charge something like £8 handling fee to collect the charges. So a £16 item would levy £3.20 VAT + £8 handling fee.

In reality, I've found most Chinese packages fall through the system, it's the US ones which seem to get caught.
