my old pillar drill has been getting worse, thought it was the drive belt too slack but adjusted it today...no better. as soon as you apply any reasonable effort to drill a hole the chuck stops turning making drilling very slow and tedious! the belt pulleys seem tight on the shafts so i,m thinking the quill or chuck?.. i,ve never stripped one before, is there a keyway or grub screw to transmit the drive or is it a taper fit?it is badged walker turner dont know model but must be quite old..see pic ..any idea.s /tips?
