Pillar drill redundant or not?

With having a Bridgeport now I'm finding I don't often use my meddings pillar drill now, should I sell it to make some room and do all my drilling on the mill or will I regret it?
What do you guys who have both think?

When you have a job set up on the mill and need to drill a few holes in something else you will be cursing

I still use mine quite a lot. The mill is better in terms of accuracy and mine also has a built-in tapping feature which is lovely, but sometimes you just need a hole and getting it within 10 μm of the right place doesn't matter. In those cases, the drill press is usually a lot quicker.

I have at least 8 pillar drills 2 mill's......wouldn't even think of selling anyone of them.....my pillar drills when not bolted down to the bench are on heavy braked wheeld trollys.......

I thought the same when I had my Bridgeport but the feel is much better on my Progress drill and much easier for just the odd hole.

Definitely do not sell it, every time your clocking in the vice because you had to take it off to do a job you could have easily done on the drill, you’ll want to injure yourself

TBH, I'm as happy swapping chuck and tools in my mill, and don't regret flogging off my little pillar drill a couple of years ago

Well I had to get rid of my big Pillar Drill when I put the CNC mill in for lack of space. I find it a total pain in the Harris to swap tooling over in the big mill just to have a chuck on there to drill a hole. Bloody nuisance. And the big mill doesn't have a tapping feature so next year I am converting it to use a VFD.
I was eyeing up a cheap Draper drill press the other day just because it was cheap and I could have stuck it on the bench to drill holes with. I passed as it wouldn't have been a patch on the Progress that went.
