Picture of broken weld

Hello everyone,
i did a projet on fatigue cycle effet on a weld. To make a short story i studied how to calculate the number of cycles before the weld break.

So i have to make a presentation of my result and i can't find a proper picture of a broken weld by fatigue. I did a least a million search on google and i did a overall view on internet and i still can't find something interresting.

Do someone have one for me here?

Hi Vachon522. If you do a search for "braze" using the search facility on this forum you should find a post (about 10 hits down) by a chap called killer fusion. He refered to his problem as a "failed braze" on a bed frame. Others corrected him and pointed out that is was a failed weld. Not sure if this is what you are after but this was an intresting and different post! with pics!!

^ That wasn't a fatigue failure Mike, it was a poorly made weld which had no fusion.

Thanks everybody, i found what i search with the google search Wozzaaah gave me.

I did a analysis on a train frame who had severe failure on is principal welds.


So i have to make a presentation of my result and with a picture like that i will be a lot more interresting
