never saw that one, its going to be a split event then, only problem is where are the majority of attractions going to be ?

Interesting. 5 of us camped 2-3 yrs ago. Never again, Travelers were running amok all w/e. Which is a same as it is a good show.

Cromford steam rally this weekend as well, must be the season for them.

Thanks for the info. I'd been planning to take the family for a few months to Pickering but after doing a search on Google I thought it had moved. I hope the Pickering show is still as good. Might see you there DB

Been to Pickering today and can say it was excellent, loads to see and do

working around this place all weekend...ime getting steam withdrawals as have,nt been to one for a few weeks now and the steam seasons getting shorter

Cumbria steam gathering used to be like that when I was showing, gyppo kids nicking tractors and running them around the fields at night, fights on the campsite, it was disgusting

Were going to Cromford instead this year. Smaller but closer.

Just returned home from Pickering
Brilliant day
Had a ride in to the town in the "Tarmac 8 wheel Sentinel steam wagon"
Got some real nice video
Weather was much better than forecast
