Nothing much under 100 years old in general, apart from the obvious like the Migatronic etc..
Smells great as well
Yes it's left over from WW2 and everybody says it still contains 100's of kilos of TNT ( or the German equivalent at the time), I stood by it for several minutes, daring myself to give one of the horns a good kick, to prove them wrong.. but I bottled it and left well alone, not worth the risk that it really is still liveThat last shot looks like a Mine
Wow that looks amazing! It is one of my ambitions to blag a sail on a Viking longship, there are a few kicking about, replicas but very true to the originals, and one even made it to the US.I have family in Denmark, they have a similar Viking boatyard / meuseum nearby at Roskilde, well worth a look if you're nearby. They also hold a HUGE classic car meeting there (moybe once a month in the Summer)

Internet's really bogged here, normally it's mega, sorry for any cockups.
Blimey, I've just remembered there's some rust that urgently needs chipping, it's right up the bows..I was in Hammerfest a few years ago. There are very bitter memories of the war there. There is a memorial. the Germans killed most of the town as a reprisal for Norwegian partisan actions, which were supported and assisted by British SOE operatives.
I work with ROV's and once discovered a mine off the coast of Norway. It was a British anti submarine mine. At the time we didn't know what it was. It was recovered to the back deck of another ship by another ROV. The Royal Norwegian Navy expert took one look at it and told them to push it back over the side. It was later blown up by the Royal Norwegian Navy.
Are you sure its German....we mined most of the Norwegian coast to try to stop the Germans occupying Norway.Yes it's left over from WW2 and everybody says it still contains 100's of kilos of TNT ( or the German equivalent at the time), I stood by it for several minutes, daring myself to give one of the horns a good kick, to prove them wrong.. but I bottled it and left well alone, not worth the risk that it really is still live
