Can anybody advise me on buying a photo printer for my home use. I have a pc with windows 10 and as we have a new granddaughter we are getting loads of digital photos in email attachments we would like to print as per normal standard photos to put in frames. I have had a look on Google to try and get an idea of what's what and now I am confused. It seems generally the printers are inkjet but you can also get a type called colour dye-sublimation. I went on ebay and found a "Canon Selphy CP910"advertised as such a machine and after reading the technical bumph thought that that was the boy, but I checked another supplier who was a tad cheaper and in that technical data it says it was a inkjet printer!!
Also if I bought one of these printers do they come with the inks or have you got to buy them separately? Normally its the inks that end up being more expensive than the machines like normal paper printers I find. Obviously the paper has to be the correct paper as well so is that expensive too?
On makes is Canon the best or how about Epson?
