She has just been put on Floppy Dog Oil or something like that! It's a blood thinner from what I can gather with lots of dietary restrictions apparently.

Question is; Is there any reason why she cannot take a B12 vitamin supplement?

I told her to ask her doctor, but I was just personally interested in the opinions here. They would not be used in preference although I was asking the resident pharmacists.

Not sure a chemist would know, necessarily, but a pharmacist would have had more relevant training, or a pharmacologist, or a doctor.

Hello, no problem with taking B12. If your wife is a vegan, she may need additional B12, again, not a problem.
You should avoid grapefruit juice as it reduces clopidogrel effectiveness.
Also avoid ibuprofen and additional aspirin. Paracetamol is OK.
It has no effect on your sex life!

Grapefruit to be avoided when on statins - bit of a bugger because I used to like a can of Lilt (can't stand it otherwise)

Biggest problem I had when on Clopidogrel was even a slight knock resulted in a bruise or a cut bleeding for ages. Was only for six months after heart surgery.
