Well, every day is a school day, I'm just wiring up some 16A Red and 32A blue sockets that I bought for a project recently.
Came to screw a gland into the back of one of them, hole's obviously too big for a 25mm thread, quick check with a pair of calipers shows that it obviously isn't 32mm either. Resort to Google; PG threads -WTF are they? Searching using the manufacturer's name turns up that the thread is PG21 on these sockets. Had to mail order 2 off PG21-25mm adapters as none of the three 'trade' electrical places I normally buy from stock the bloody things. If I'd seen the table below that has the dimensions before I ordered I would have screwcut a couple in the lathe rather than have to wait a couple of days for delivery.
Rant over -I thank you.....
