Filled the van this morning at the BP garage on the East Lancs diesel at 141.9 . Checked on petrol prices website now 143.9 six hours later.

140.9 across the supermarket options in Newport, 145.9 is about the going rate for the independent places, can't think of a BP near me that isn't magor services and they are always a good 15-20p higher than everyone else

Petrol £1.35 in Tesco cirencester this morning, which probably means about £1.29 in Tesco Gloucester. Cirencester is always ridiculously expensive so we always fill up in Gloucester at either of the big three supermarkets.

There was a guy at Rover in the 80's who had 6 off 45 gallon drums of petrol in his garage when there was worries of a shortage

I knew someone who was caught with a 40 gallon drum in his garage in the late 80s , he ended up with a large fine. I think the maximum you can store is around 10 litres?
