I've ordered a pair of lsd's for the landrover that I do a bit of racing with so whilst the diff centres were out I decided to "peg" the crownwheels to try and stop the crown wheel distorting and coming out of mesh with the pinion,
Here's a bit more about the process.... http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/diff-pegging-.html
On the first one I used some oirlikon superfonte NI rods to stick the m/s to the diff casing and although it was a sound enough weld it looked like rubbish. I didn't get any pics of that but I did get a few pis of the second one that I did with some 319 dissimilars, just need to drill and tap it before I rebuild the diff.
Il post a few more once I've drilled and tapped it
