Pc power supply changes.

Have any specs/ standards on PC power supplies been changed?
I ask as mine packed up recently and I grabbed a new one.
But it does not have the same plugs as the old one for the board power.

I have had some before where the plugs split.
But this small plug is six way and a little flying lead of 2 way.
However even if the 6 way did split it would not plug in due to there being two squares and two rounds diagonal to each other on my board.
But no plug looks like that .

6 way plug is for Graphics card supplementary power, there should still be an 8 way splittable or 4 way plug for the motherboard.

Yeah but even if this one did the orientation it would not fit in the 4 way.

But anyway. I have been a divvy again. There was another lead which indeed was a 4 way. I had checked 3 times and missed it everytime.

So many little things going wrong and putting me into the doldrums. This land registry registration thing is getting to me as I know at the end of November I will be another year older and one less year they will lend me money.
