PAYG E-Sim?

Does a genuine payg e-sim exist?

Basically, I could do with a temporary phone number for a month over xmas.

My phone has 2 sim card slots but only one is working.
It can take an e-sim though.
I don't know what an e-sim is or how I install one!

Had a quick look but they all seem to want you to sign up to £5 a month or something.
I just need the ability to receive calls/voicemail/texts temporarily and don't mind paying a one-off fee for that.
Don't need to make/send any outgoing so call cost etc is irrelevant..
Any pointers?

Try GiffGaff, they do e-sims but you need to have their 'app' installed first. we have one phone with a physical SIM & one e-SIM and one with two e-SIM's, both work fine.

Try Tesco, they do PAYG sims and you can order one and have it converted to an e-SIM I believe. Might be best to ring them and check.
