Hi chaps, after struggling for months with a little Draper gasless mig I've decided it's time to get a proper welder. I was pretty much set on the Paton but I've just seen the special price of the Bohler on WSD and I'm pretty tempted.
As a newbie the synergic functions on the Bohler look really handy and I believe it uses a Eurotorch connection for TIG so it can use the solenoid in the machine, whereas on the Paton I'd need a valved torch. Are there any other major differences I've missed?
I didn't really want to spend more than a grand but if there's a big difference in quality then I'd rather buy once, cry once.
If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.
