Paslode Nail Gun Repairs

Anyone know of an independent 'Paslode Fixer' in East Sussex / West Kent ?

I have a First Fix and also a Second fix gun at are both now playing up. Neither have done much work - the Second fix one hardly any !

Most tool hire places should be able to sort them, but tbh it's not a hard job

It is relativly simple to service both. I have the leaflets somwhere if you need a copy. Stan

Service isn't the issue - that's simple - this is repair, and not having parts to exchange make diagnosis neigh on impossible. Just buying / swapping bits gets expensive very quickly with things like the ignition unit and bendy pcb clocking in at a tad under £100 delivered

Dirty battery contacts was the usual problem with mine, it's not been used for a few years now if you feels like making an offer awmawson, first fix type.

with little use the firing chamber gets dirty more so if not cleaned out after each use as iove taken mine apart just to clean thew firing chamber

a misfire can be caused by a number of things dirty contacts, the trigger and the trigger pcb board

If it's electronic then battery contacts and ignition plug and lead/connection are 3 things to examine first...

What is the problem with them

Start with the easy bits and work up to the complicated stuff. Thats the best method for diagagnostics

I don't wish to sound ungrateful, but I was actually looking for contact details for an independent Paslode fixer rather than trying remote diagnosis. Hence at this stage the symptoms aren't relevant.
