Parweld XTM 181c any good or alternatives?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and having not used a mig for many years I'm clueless as to what's on the market.

I'm embarking on restoring a Capri and spoke to someone who I trust in the welding industry who's recommended a Parweld XTM 181c at sub £500.

Is this a good machine, has anyone got one or can anyone recommend any others?

Right.......I'm off to the tips section to refresh my memory!!

Hi, haven't used the 180, but I do know that the Parweld machines are very good. Very reliable, and simply 'do what they say on the tin'. They just work! Definitely worth that little bit extra £££ over a Sealey or SIP.
