Hi
My Clarke 151 died half way through a job and luckily the neighbour had one I could borrow to finish the job for the customer. I am going to take the plunge (I was trying to wait until I had made some more money to pay for a new welder but alas it failed), I am looking at the Parweld XTM 171C MIG Welder and have spoken to weldequip and he said that this one will do what I want. After some looking on the internet I found the XTM 181C which has the spot welding function which of course I now need like every man..
Has anyone any experience with the Parweld welder and is the spot welding function worth the extra £100+ it costs. Is this a good machine to weld a variety of jobs from car body work to gates and railings?
