Parweld replacement lenses

A while back now, I bought a parweld truecolour mask, which in general I'm quite pleased with for the money, but it's had a fairamount of use now so due for new lenses. It came with a spare set, so I peeled off the plastic, dropped them in and...pea soup. Can't see a thing. I can see the imprint of "remove this" from the plastic protective film on it. Washing made no difference so I replaced the old ones, after a wash and went online to evilbay. Bought more what appear to be genuine lenses, from oxford iirc. Guess what? Yup, utterly useless. So...does anyone know where I could buy some actual CLEAR, SEE THROUGH, lenses? Before I'm forced to weld with a white stick?

I got some universal ones from BOC. They are bigger so easily cut down with a Stanley knife. Take the old one in to check against.

Thanks. Sounds like a plan. Nuisance though, it means driving to their depot in Swindon. I might check their agent in Cirencester first.

Yeah, gotta be worth ringing with measurements first. It's quite a large screen.

single curve or flat lens protectors easily replicated with scissors or craft knife,
use Laser OHP "Clear" Acetate sheets,
you can get multiple external and internal from an A4 sheet depending on the size.
Been using them for years, could never readily find the right size and rather not pay £££££s for a 3 pack.

Thanks, that sounds like a decent plan. If they're cheap I'd change them regularly, I do like a clear screen!

Just ordered some lexan.

It's the same as most materials these days; particularly the likes of clear plastic - used for screens, etc., so the price has rocketed.

Still far, far cheaper than buying them ready made!
