Parweld Migs

Hi,

Has anyone seen or heard about Parwelds line of Mig welders?

They are launching a range of Switch migs (Prob Chinese)

One of my customers went to the launch at the factory today. I will have some more info for you on Monday.

Not heard that parweld was launching a mig range. I have little doubts about it being of chinese origins, what isn't now days, I am guess but price is likely to be cheap. I guess they will be fine for the DIY market but not the professional fabrication market. where they are likely to be light on duty cycle, and build quality, but we may yet be suprised

They'll be Chinese for sure, the top man (Tracey ) lives in China. Zero technical back up, just replace it with another unit under warranty... outside warranty who knows I won't be touching em... before I've even seen the spec!

I could be the mystery customer !!
I visited to see a specific item that is aimed at a very specific market.
The DIY/Light Industry market was not discussed for this future project.
It was purely a feasability excersice to look at an alternative to an existing product available from the existing range.

We have been reading the comments and feel we must correct you on your inaccuracies
Weldquip, Firstly, you are obviously out of date with the Parweld senior management structure, in terms of your comments on support, Parweld have 2 qualified technical engineers alongside a team of CAD engineers who design many of its product from conception.

Only going off what I've been told by their own field sales (about Tracey Parker living in China) but I don't want to upset anyone so I stand corrected, and offer my apologies.

Always interesting and informative, if we get first hand info from the companies concerned, im sure Malcolm the forum owner would have not objections to any employee's of parweld posting information about the new mig welders and the companies technical support, or any other welding manufacturer, i guess as long as its not a blatent advert there would be no objection. Info is always better from the horses mouth so to speak

I suggest a competition giveaway with these "new" Parweld migs as prizes. You know the format.

"Parweld gives a closer, cleaner, weld. Because no one makes welders like the Chinese."

Nah your alright, I was just letting the people on here know to look out for them in the future because they would probably be another possibility for them when they are next in the market to buy some kit!
