I have procured a twin post lever type brake pipe flaring tool, looks old but cleaned up well.
I have three "dies", hex is numbered:
1= pin and sunk ring,
6= pin and sunk ring, may be slight difference in ring size to above
7= pin with conical form. (male). Operation 1 ?
Can users of this type of tool confirm that these dies are for 3/16 / 4.75 brake pipe. Pin is about 2.5mm dia and body after hex is 10 mm
I have no two piece clamping block, the die slot is 1" square x 1 1/2" deep and looks like the pickavant/sealey type. Need confirmation of block dimensions to procure a 4.7mm block (for Toyota) Current sources ?
The lever is missing, no problem to make one but I need to know the pin dia and offset on the ecentric end of the lever. Looks about 10mm in on a 30mm dia
Since I have to make a new lever anyway I am considering incorporating two ball races to make the lever arc shorter/easier in tight situations, worth the effort ?
Thanks for reading, responses appreciated
