They last me well enough and cheep enough to bin when used.

the brush would have to with stand what ever you used as the solvent/water/oil baised cleaner

would also love to know where to get a cheap brush for mine. following with interest.
I use what I believe used to be called 'paraffin' brushes by mechanics/engineers. I got them from my local hardware shop - hard bristles, twisted wire handles with a loop at the end for hanging up.
No 'through handle' fluid flow though.......but I just wear industrial solvent-proof gloves![]()
Easy enough to strap, or twist around, a length of copper brake pipe to the handle for the fluid.
