I should have done that at the startYeah I had same problem, The Iscar blades are smaller than standard and there is not enough range for other blades to fit, the holder is a flex type.
Modification would be tough due to needing the V angle to hold the blade. Easier to grind the blade down, which I started then gave up.
I sold my Iscar holder on here - they knew, and wanted to use an Iscar blade only.. and I got a two peice clamp type holder, I think it was from RDG. They have a few sizes, Im not sure which you need, here is one.
