Hi All..i've a narrowboat and it needs a load of little jobs doing..so I bought a Parker piw-200-c and some 3.2mm e6013 rods.
Had a couple of gos but never properly welder ed anything..started with a cratch...a large triangle of 2mm mild steel angle iron that needed forming and the two ends butted and welded together...put the welder on lowest setting just to start ftom zero and scale up to what was needed....first touch..blew straight through the metal and then spent 20 min tack filling back metal to reform the joint....I've no idea..is that normal??
