If I'm to be honest, I've never been a fan of them - being 'forced' to eat improperly-cooked food while being surrounded by flies/midges all while trying to balance a plate & glass....no thanks . Usually brings out the Victor in me.

With you on that, we have a perfectly good cooker indoors I can burn stuff on, no need to stand outside!

Hi, I agree, plus there is a perfectly good kitchen available and people want to attempt to cook on a smoky bonfire.
