Anyone got any idea how to get a refund off them??
parcel was meant to be collected over a month ago
have phoned themseveral times
no answer
tried a live chat today
first i was told it had been collected and delivered then i was offered to rebook collection?????
they're saying a c harrison signed for it-no clue who this is
the clamp is still sat in the blokes porch waiting collection!!
It's only about 12 quid but they've annoyed me now
watchdog or similar??
or anyone got a contact number that works??

Hi, They do re-use contract numbers so the C Harrison bit is probably a previous or subsequent contract details. Why not just rebook the collection?

I had an horrendous problem with them. They gave me a helpline phone to ring but nobody answered it. The carrier concerned was Fedex.

Try a Google along the lines of "Parcel2Go complaint" - there's a guy out there who started a website complaining about them.

Yes, had issues with them as well, I use Interparcel now but whether they would be any better when something goes wrong I have no idea. So far (5 years) however there have been no issues.

I had to apply for compensation for a parcel I sent to a member which was a bit for a lathe. It was well wrapped in bubble wrap and the like and clearly marked with "fragile" tape and although heavy in the normal parcel way was well within their limits. It arrived at the receivers and was found to have been dropped and, as being cast iron, it was broke beyond use. When I applied for compensation they first asked for photos of the wrapping amongst other things (who does that I wonder). As I could not supply those details I contacted them and they told me to just write emails to describe all the bits I could not supply and they paid ok

I had a nightmare with them once, they told me they had tried to to deliver but no one home (I had been) was on live chat for nearly 2 hours, the agent called me a liar and said the courier had tried to deliver and had photographic evidence to prove it. I was fuming and demanded it got escalated but the agent refused and I gave up in the end. I got a phone call the following day from a manager who had reviewed the chat, she emailed a dark photo that looked nothing like my house, the driver was clearly trying it on. I ended up getting my parcel delivered, my fees refunded (I arranged the courier) and £20 added to my credit.

I will PM you the email address of the person who I dealt with, to be fair to her she was very helpful but it was 2 years ago so no guarantee she is still there.

The delivered my parcel to a blokes garden, as luck would have it he was a decent bloke and found it in the garden 3 days later!
Got a refund but useMy Hermes now instead

I bought a fibre glass column for a porch, when it turned up, a corner was damaged, I refused it, and the delivery guy went mental, when I got out the van, it was rocking from side to side, he was having a rite paddy. Two days later and the company I bought it from said they received it back flat as a pan cake. The driver must have taken it back to the dept, and run over it with the fork lift. I lost 180quid, as they refused to pay out

That is strange, because it is the supplier's responsibilty right until the moment you accept delivery. So if you refused it, you have legal right of refund, regardless of what might have happened to it on the way back.

I might be forgetful but sure I got it collected

Utter shower of unmentionables
Booked a parcel with them to go to the states, they then 3 weeks after delivery sent an invoice demanding 30 quid extra, claiming it was 3 times the stated size, despite sending them photos of the package and highlighting that my mother is 5'1 and if the box had been 3 times the stated size it would have been as tall as her and she carried it alone to the post office....they wouldn't budge. Parents credit card covered it as a gesture of goodwill...

Wouldn't use them again if they paid me

I had a bill for 6 x £4.62 which related to the 20kg Bolts for 20 quid I was supplying to members on here. They said packaging was not up to standard but could not provide photos. lol

I defy anyone who purchased them to say they were not well packed. even the driver had commented on the 6 packs saying he wished everyone packed stuff like I had.

I just use an alternative mail when I need to use parcels2go. as they always add that money if I forget and use my account. lol

I think I may have mentioned this before. I had a motorcycle engine delivered by courier, it was just wrapped in layers of bubble wrap. This had been mishandled or rolling about in the van, subsequently the gear selector shaft had been bent. The couriers wouldn't entertain compensation so the sender had to compensate me to replace the bent part. Point is that senders have a responsibility to pack parcels expecting them to get rough handling.

Yes but they can't decide if it's been collected and delivered or if it hasnt!!

Spoke to 3 separate people who all said it had been delivered when i know it is still sat in the hallway!!

Did you any luck with the email address I sent you? that person shows up as still working there on Linked in and was helpfull for me.
