Pallet of shimstock, to buy or not to buy?

I can buy this pallet of shim stock (steel, brass, stainless) for 80€

It's a good price, but I can't see myself using it up even if I lived to be 200.

Seller wants to sell as one unit, i wanted the brass shims mainly. From .05mm to .5mm sizes.

So what would you guys do?

buy it and sell most of it on ebay or other and make a decent profit

I would just buy it. Some I would sell on in bundles and when I became bored with that I would sort out what I think I might need and scrap/give away the rest.

I'd buy it. If you can store it nicely, it's always going to be worth something in that quantity. It's not cheap stuff to buy at retail!

Probably barter and buy it, especially if the brass was what I wanted - and is a fair proportion. Doesn’t look like a full sized standard pallet. Your choice - not ours to persuade you one way or the other.

I'd buy it and sell it in small packs having set some aside for personal use. Granted I might sell some that I subsequently needed but the profit from the rest will likely cover having to buy some at market rates.

Worst case is you're down 80€.

I went and got them today, brass ones went down to .01mm and that seemed to be unopened. Difficult to tell how much is left on some of them but it seems a varied lot. A lot of .3mm sheet.
