Painting plywood and pine with 2k car paint?

I have some cupboards doors I made from pine and plywood for the garage
I want To paint them with 2k black car paint (maybe other suggestions for hard wearing paint)but don't know what primer to work with 2k

I'd avoid black, it picks up scuffs and marks very noticeably.
I've painted wood with 2K before, it works fine - but its not exactly cheap.
Standard gloss works well enough for cupboards - or a varnish if you like the wood look.

i wouldnt use that paint myself

to be honest the wood you have and the paint your using wont be hard wearing anyway and will still chip for fun if you hit them wrong

if you want doors to last its epoxy

I've used epoxy primer on MDF before. Worked fine.

2k paint soaks into the wood and it will take an awful lot of paint before you get any sort of decent finish.

As its interior use buy some decent quality water based undercoat and satin finish top coat. Crown, dulux, Johnstons or fleetwood are all decent makes.

Put it on with a mohair mini roller.
