Painting on orange peel

Some advise please

I have been spraying a few panels nissan micra the lacquer coat came out reasonable,however I did not put enough on, there is very slight orange peel I believe when I flatten the laquer I will go back to base coat can I just scotch back the laquer and put More on ?
Can I leave some of the orange peel on the job and go straight on it after a light scotch

personally I would flat back the orange peel, it just will be worse if add more coats

If the orange peel is only in the lacquer coat it should disappear once flatted back and overcoated, but if it's in the colour coat it will look even worse with clearcoat on top of it.

She has got me doing the bathroom at the moment when finished I will try and correct the peel
