Painting hidden recess of Unistut

I'm building a new shed / workshop using scaffolding poles / KeeKlamps for the basic frame then adding Unistrut as alternative to timber 3" x 2" before outer cladding.
Most of the Unistrut is either old stock or good used so the galv'd finish has aged enough for painting. I therefore intend giving everything a good couple of coats of industrial type red oxide whilst I have the chance seeing I've got 5 ltrs left over from another project
The Unistrut profile is like this -

Any can anyone give me tips on how to get paint into the hidden recess ? Only thing I can think of is before installation holding the channel so gap / recess is downwards and then pouring small amount of paint into the recess and allowing it to run down back into the tin.

Could you use a suitable zeb fitting for it and attach a brush and handle with a simple paint feed? Don't know if red oxide will be too viscous though.

The guttering dip that octo suggests sounds like a winner.

Try a pipe & 2 stop ends instead of a gutter.

Fit one end & part fill pipe, insert strut fit other end shake & remove.

Less mess.

screwfix has 7L garden sprayers for £15 you will have to thin and filter the oxide tho. and you may have to modify the jet to get it to spray back on itself.

how about using a rattle can change the nozzle from a wd 40 tin and use the thin pipe but put a 180 deg bend in it with a little heat then just do that bit with the rattle cans or use a shultze gun if you have one, and do a similar thing adapt apiece of brake pipe to spray the inside

My late dad had one of the wax oil kits and that had a very basic cavity spray attachment which consisted of a length of stiff nylon tube aprox 3mm bore. Into this was pushed what looked like a nail but the point end had been flattened. So picture a 1" nail with 1/4" head an 1/8" of the point end flattened, pushed almost right into the tube. Now when fluid is squirted through the tube it bypasses the nail due to the flattened part and then hits the underside of the nail head and is forced sideways 360 degs. If you then put two of your lengths together forming a box like section you can do two at once without it coming outside the channel.
Hope that makes sense as I have to spray inside some panels and hoping to do in this way!

Not sure how much pressure you could push through tube before the nail/pin popped out but was used with the wax oil pump fitting that went on there 5lt can.
If red ox is thinned should work

As it's galvanised and lasts for years outside I wouldn't worry too much about it's hidden recesses inside in a dry shed
